Hi all, new here. I run a few small sites behind a handful of self-managed reverse-proxy cache nodes (nginx-based) in different regions.
The part I keep going back and forth on is purging: when content changes on origin, do you push a purge to every node, rely on short TTLs plus stale-while-revalidate, or use versioned URLs for static assets?
Right now I do versioned URLs for CSS/JS and short TTLs for HTML, but purges still take a while to reach every node. Curious what setups others here use and what broke for you along the way.
